Christmas is coming soon!

I started decorating this week even though we are not over Thanksgiving yet.  I am looking forward to next week with all of my family here and good food!  I just don't want to have everything to do all at once.  So I have been doing the porch.  I took these pics.  Love this first picture, well, I like all the ones with my grandson!!  I will have to practice to get better with my camera!

These trees are on either side on my front door. I am not finished yet. I will put a few wrapped boxes underneath.

I love watching my grandson discover all of these new things.

Fall Leaves

He's getting so big.
While I am recuperating from hernia surgery the kids have taken over the camera.  Clarissa took these playing in the leaves and Daniel took these out in the pasture behind our house.

Reminds me of the scared grove.  Except that's the Flint River behind us.

Deer stand.  We have lots of deer on our property.

Looking up into the tree stand.

There are so many ferns growing wild back behind us.   Dan took some great pics.   I like the lines of the trees.

I love the interesting light that Dan took, the dark on one side and the light on the other.  Isn't it cool!

Scott's Apple Orchard

Everyone thinks that Marky looks just like Stephen did when he was little.  I have pictures of Michael when he was little and you can't tell  Mik and Mar apart.

Boys and their stinky rotten apples!!

A Game of Chase in the Orchard!

I got cha!

Here ya go U. Rob

Have I ever said that Marky adores his uncles and they adore him?!

I LOVE THESE GUYS SO MUCH!!

Love this Pic.  Mark spots the caramel apple!

Take the plastic off.  There ya go!

Fun day at the apple orchard.  My leg wasn't doing to well so I just hung back while they explored.  The kids took all the pics.  I thought they did a great job.   It's a tradition that we go each year at Apple time.  Oh the wonderful smells when you enter in.   We always buy apples(I think they have the best), fresh cidar and caramel apples of course!

We are all enlisted til the conflict is o'er!

I had to get a large shot of cortizone in my knee today.  They go up under the knee cap and Jab it all around.  And, YES it hurts  like heck!!  They gave me some meds and sprayed down with cold/ice that numbs the outside.  I have had one before a few months back, and the medicine that they put in my knee does help a lot!! But it just hurts so darn bad when injecting it, but this time was much better than last time.  Anyway,  I closed my eyes and started singing  "We are all Enlisted, til the conflict is o'er"!! ha ha.  funny now, but it helped get me through it.  The assistant that gave it to me started laughing.  My daughter even came for moral support and she asked him if any one else sang, he surprisingly said yes.  He had about 20 people do it, so I didn't feel so crazy, but really I didn't care if  he thought it or not.  Funny that was the song that came into my mind!!!

Hernia surgery next week, Here we go again!!
